Nice place, is it a vacation cabin? I ask because I rented a cabin for the thanksgiving holiday not far from where we live. During the mortgage meltdown cabins in this same area were going for so cheap, it was possible to pick something up at 25% of prior value. It was crazy. Prior to that I had been wanting to invest in a cabin. Of course I regret not pulling the trigger on a property that would have been paying for itself via rentals, although this was pre Airbnb, but there were property managers who would do it for a fee. Everybody told me the maintenance is a bitch, but at the end I missed out on some amazing investments.

Looking at places like these make me wish it was cheaper to fly to the states, there’s almost nowhere that compares in the UK. Anyone from the UK done a week at a place like this?
