    Actually, the entrance pictured was gone by 1930.

    The dancing ladies were all that remained of the original 1928 decorations, and those were destroyed by Trump’s workers then.

    The Benedict nickel entrance that replaced this graceful image above in 1930 "disappeared" mysteriously while the building was being taken down to build Trump Tower in 1980.

    In Toronto it is very difficult to completely raze heritage structures. Accordigly, they have lots a modern buildings, including skyscrapers, that incorporate the original facade.
