One of the gates of City Palace, Udaipur (Rajasthan), India. Iron spikes were placed on the gate at the height of elephant’s head to deter them from breaking open the gates.
Any info about who the figures painted on there are? Like is the crowned sun face supposed to be the king or a god?

Painted the dome of the first gatehouse is a grand picture of lord Krishna in raas Lila. One of the most beautiful works I have ever seen. Infront of that gate is the ancient painting of lord Ganesh. The door seen after this gate is that gatehouse
