Damn, typically these buildings are razed in the 50s/60s. I wonder why the building lived such a short life.

It should be noted that “casino” is used in the Italian sense, meaning more of a social gathering place. Although gambling surely occurred, it was not a featured activity. Back when I was a chef I catered quite a few events at the current casino. It is a really good place for a party!
