    sadly this is most of the north of england

    there is some amazing building left but most have been replaced with shit like that sadly

    God, the replacement is soulless. I will never understand the decisions made by those who have power to do such things.

    Honest question: did architects of buildings like the second one actually believe people would find these buildings attractive? Or is this just a case of some developer wanting a building slapped together as quickly and cheaply as possible?
