    Well shit, they already ruined it. Tearing it down seems like an act of mercy.

    It wasn’t demolished, but rather renovated. The original building still stands today.

    I would even go as far as saying it was lost twice. The first time when they remodeled, and again when the building was covered in advertisements.

    It wasn’t demolished, it had it’s facade changed in the 1960s, and the building still stands today, albeit covered in advertisements.

    Today it’s abandoned!

    Nobody wants to rent a building with most windows covered in ads. And the building owners get plenty of profit from ads
