This castle gets posted 3 times a day but I’ve never seen this angle before, very cool!

Does anybody know of a documentary about how these types (or, for that matter, any type) of castles were built?
When something is built on flat ground and you start with a fairly even foundation, I can understand how it was built but with some of these castles being built on uneven ground/cliffs, I can’t fathom how you would start and have all the spires and towers line up in the end. Boggles my mind.

If you zoom in you can see me grabbing my chest on the walk up…even after taking the horse carriage half way up.. totally worth it though.. we watched people freak out over the loose boards on the Queen’s Bridge.

No one ever talks about the castle right across the street. So this guy is at the top of one hill right at the edge of the Alps. At the bottom of the hill is a small town, one road, dedicated to tourism of this castle. On the other side of this road, is ANOTHER CASTLE. No where near as cool, but I want to see a shot with both of them in the picture.
