   Nah, I’m not feeling it. The weird light tinting, the asymmetric lighting, the different materials and colors that don’t really go together, the weird hutch in the right,…… This looks like the inside of what is imagine is a McMansion. Very tasteless, sorry.

   I like the space and idea but your parents clearly need and can afford to hire an interior designer. Too many different colors and textures in there. And I just hope they didn’t cheapen out on lights because it’d be easy to see at night.
