It gets cold there. Those glass walls are amazing, but it also gets hot there. Frank Lloyd Wright had similar problems. Technology does catch up, but not as well as nature can out do small spaces.

The Mies van der Rhoe houses in the Midwest are delicious, but dumb. His skyscrapers are so very elegant and warm without burning piles of money.

I love the freedom that some climates have in terms of building. Here in southern Ontario we can go from -30 to +30c with humidity that could bring a mummy back to life.

I love modern houses because of the simplicity of them and im a sucker for natural light due to the glass, But why is it so damn expensive? I would assume that the least amount of stuff on a house would make it cheaper in price because a majority of it is glass. Can someone help me understand why its so expensive?

Nice one. An *actual* mid-century modern interior.

After looking at the source I can’t say I’m a fan of the whole project, but this room really belongs here.

People who live in glass houses shouldn’t have insta worthy cats, it draws the wrong type of loitering.

I’m pretty sure my wallet just had a panic attack looking at that.
