Hmm, as demonstrated in one of the other pictures, half your books are out of reach. Some of those could be reached by a ladder, the ones in the stairway are just dangerous.
I guess the Dutch also don’t have very strict railing codes, you could not have kids in this place.

Looks cool but seems really impractical. Can’t reach the books well and it seems like having a kitchen right next to exposed books can’t be good for maintaining the books quality.
