Source Market House, Wheeling, West Virginia, built 1822. In addition to the market stalls, it housed city offices and was the site of slave auctions prior to the Civil War. Replaced by newer market in 1912.

kumarabellydancer says I was just in this area, Wheeling/Steubenville. Strange place, looks like it would have been gorgeous half a century ago though.
