I used this castle as reference for an art project where i had to paint the memories of an alzheimer’s patient for one of my test paintings, this really took me back thank you for posting

From Wikipedia: “The oldest parts of the castle date back to the 12th century and it was home to the Talbot family for 791 years, from 1185 until 1976”
Wow, made it almost 800 years. You’d think they’d have held on until 1985 just to get there.
