I was on a road trip in college, we stayed in
the mountains the first night and froze our asses off as we slept in the car. We woke up and headed for the desert. We just wanted to be somewhere warm. So we got the the Grand Canyon. Terrific choice. It got down to 14° that night. I wasn’t sure I was going to wake up, in a light sleeping bag packed for the beach. Damn kids. The guy on the map was wearing a sombrero!
