  4. The couch should be facing the other direction and closer to the back wall. It’s strange for there to be a couch facing nothing. Not conducive to conversation or a very comfortable place to sit

  6. Damn is this r/roomcritique, every thread the comments ignore 99% of what makes the room nice and instead focuses on a small irrelevant factor. So what if the couch faces a painting, she probably swapped out the TV that’s usually sitting there as she thought it looked better for the photos.

    The window is great, cool how a simple patio door and one extra pane of glass showing the eaves can make the room feel so much lighter and larger.
