    Have you looked at your stairs? Would you like it if what was on your stairs was on your kitchen counter? Would you put out a big bowl of tossed salad on that counter while guests were going up and down those stairs?

    (This design quirk shows up frequently)

  6. you will see every speck of dusk. Can’t make pastry in that kitchen without careful cleaning. Dirty shoes dropping filth into the kitchen. Just a nightmare set up.
