    I believe it’s the Earl’s Palace and it’s in Kirkwall… not to be pedantic, but just in case someone wants to do some internet research 🙂

    I had to go to Kirkwall on business for a few weeks about a decade ago. It is such a lovely place, with outstanding food and drink, and lovely people. My only complaint was that everything shut at 5pm.

    Also every building was pebble-dashed to survive the horrific horizontal rain.

    I didn’t see the castle, but I did start and complete Morrowwind while I was there.
