Anyone happen to know the name of this building? Looking for an historical account.

Leg it down to the Emporium and tell them that I shall be by at 1 o’clock to see about the purchase of an automobile, won’t you? Here’s a shiny penny for you!

    What’s the intersection?

    EDIT: St. Charles and Perdido.

Here’s some more info on the building:

    http://old-new-orleans.com/NO_Masonic_Temple.html

It was a Masonic temple replaced by another temple in 1926 which still stands today and is used as a hotel. Second high rise in the CBD.

It’s at St. Charles and Perdido street.

No I think it’s Carondolet and lafayette and is where the ace hotel is now located?

  6. Jmmon says

Built in 1892. Any construction photos, or photos of the building that stood there prior?

  7. suicideposter says

Were those big Gothic windows legit or just a faked decoration?

It would be so damn cool to go in that bike store.
