    Amazing how sharp these images from wooden satelites were back in the 12th century

    that’s not the Imperial Palace but the Bukoleon Palace and there are only ruins left.

    Fun fact about it, the ruins were partially demolished in the beginning of the 20th century to build a railway line through it
