IKEA show room. I’m redoing my room and this is the vibe I’m going for! However, my room is small (11x10ft) and has limited light sources; any recommendations? (Affordable please)
We bought a long curtain rod that stretches across the whole room and installed it on the wall that has the only window in our daughters room. Then we put white sheers up across the entire wall. They tend to catch a lot of the light, but we’re still considering installing an LED rope along the baseboard to light up the bottom of the curtains.

This isn’t really the right sub to ask questions like this, But I’ll try to answer anyway….
You won’t be able to ‘get the vibe’. At least not with a double bed in a 11ft x 10ft room.

Get some nice warm lamps and keep your room clean

Hang curtains from a little further above (and wider than) the window, to make the room seem taller. Use light, textured fabrics to give the room depth without relying on dark colours – linens, cottons, wool and sheepskin would all help achieve the natural look this room has. Keep the furniture, particularly the bed, as slimmed-down as possible, and utilise mirrors to improve the sense of light and space.
