I love old cabins, so I go around hunting for them and document them. The stories they could tell! Here’s a 100+ year old cabin from the Yukon, Canada. It served a roadhouse along the Kluane Wagon Trail, which was built by the famous Sam McGee (Robert Services poem). She’s a beauty!

I also love old cabins! Do you have a catalog of your finds and some stories?

If, like me you were unfamiliar with the poem: https://www.poetryfoundation.org/poems/45081/the-cremation-of-sam-mcgee
This made the picture even more special!

Woah woah, Sam McGee was a real person? I assumed it was entirely fiction. Love that poem though!

How do you find them? I can’t think of a better way to spend time.
