My dreams for this castle is that there is a massive network of mines/caves carved out underneath the castle – 1 for stores and granaries/water cisterns, 2 – for tunnels to get behind the assaulting enemy forces.
I’ve been mapping castles in this subreddit for over a year. If you see any I’ve missed let me know. I’m planning a very long sailing trip and I want to eventually sail to various castles (or stop at ports and go inland to see castles). I will most likely film and drone film them and put them on youtube.
Color legend:
Blue- Castle, Wall, Fortress, Citadel, Battle Site that I want to visit someday
Red- Interesting non-Castle, non-Fortress, etc places I want to visit someday
Green- Places I’ve visited

I’ve been there a couple times. I remember the keep being suprisingly small. It also apparently never fell into an enemy and was attacked by the ottomans?
