Himeji Castle is an UNESCO world heritage site. It occupies an area of 233 hectares (576.8 acres), making it one of the biggest castles in the world. But the most interesting aspect is it’s impregnable defense system. If you’re interest, here’s a short blog post, with some more pictures about it: https://oncastles.com/himeji-castle/
