I’m wondering if the constant moisture and plant matter will degrade the construction? Will it be covered in bugs eventually? I’d like to see how it ends up.

Concrete structures are incredibly CO2-intensive. Building concrete structures strong enough to support trees, their soil and roots, watering infrastructure, +++, is one of the least green things you can do.
