The current building is nice, but not something to go out of the way to see. This building is such a great example of nicely overblown "stop and look at me" Victorian architecture.

30 years seems like a waste of building material.

Looks like the courthouse built in 1911 is several times the size of this one: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fulton_County_Courthouse_(Georgia)
I’m guessing the short lifespan was due to not having enough space. I do prefer the 1911 design to this (it’s nice, but there’s just too much going on here) but demolition is still a real waste.
