    Is it just the perspective of the photo, or does the 2nd floor of that inner ring not have any windows looking out into the central courtyard? It must have been VERY dark inside. I’m sure there’s a reason for that.

    Love this photo. It’s got the familiar European-style star fort, but it looks like it’s been built out of some sort of ‘exotic’ black stone and it’s surrounded by Far Eastern jungle.
