Owned by the same person who owned the infamous Ford’s Theater.

It was sadly replaced with a parking garage.

A very reserved handsome building that deserves way fucking better than this. Fucking parking structures back at it again with needlessly slaughtering perfectly fine buildings for dirty, shallow profit gain. I fucking hate Urban Renewal so much, one of the worst things to ever happen to architecture in history.

The advertisements are for “The Commuters,” a ca. 1910 play by Canadian playwright James Forbes. HL Mencken wrote a review of Forbes’s work and said that the play “will be see (sic) here [in Baltimore] probably at Ford’s.”
