It’s nice to see it cleaned up. When I was young I was in the area once and it didn’t look good at all due to lack of maintenance.

1936? Holy shit. It doesn’t matter if you despise modern architecture, this is an important building and should be protected and maintained indefinitely, the same way heritage buildings that are 100s of years old are. It’s quite mind blowing to know this was built in the ‘30s, I can’t even imagine what it would have been like to actually see it in person when it was first built.
