Egyptian Hall: Built in 1812 London, England. Was used as a museum and lecture hall, known for its many esoteric exhibits. Was demolished in 1905 to make way for housing.
Unfortunately a lot of these buildings that were “outside the box” in their design were poorly constructed. When they say “demolished in 1xxx” it usually implies they were falling apart or a least very expensive to maintain.

The whole Egypt craze phase of Europe was absolutely wild. I think at one point they were even eating the mummies

The Egyptian House, Penzance still stands and though a little later gives you a feel for what it would have been like.
