Bit weird to refer to it as the Laurenskirche considering the damage the Germans did to the city. The word you’re looking for is "kerk".

Today the church looks out of place, foreign in an environment where it predates the buildings around it. The new architecture of the city somehow managed to make the old building seem like the outcast.

Does anyone have a pic of the new cityscape?

Love it! The new "Rotterdam" is pretty disgusting.

Finally a good reason to hate the Nazis, that’s just horrible

They can rebuild it no worries

Unbelievable how much was lost in such a short time. It’s just crazy.
