    Visited here last year. A really amazing place. Damn Cromwell.

    One interesting tidbit that I caught was that, when the government of Ireland took the place over in the 30’s, they proclaimed that there would be no more burials in the churcyard onsite. Not surprisingly, this didn’t sit well with the townsfolk, so everyone got a one time chance to register themselves and their children for a plot. As of last year, there were 9 people left who could still claim one.
