« Warkworth castle, Northumberland by mavic drone . This medieval castle is located on a strategic river bend with the sea rearwards. The castle is located near Alnwick castle, Bamburgh castle and Dunstanburgh castle. Warkworth was operational during the Scottish border wars and War of the Roses.

    Anyone have an idea how the facade is treated?

    My guess is, not sure about the English word but the swedish word is, lasyr.

    Edit: after some google I believe it is glaze

    Very interesting version of the late Medival stave-type construction, like a number of surviving stave churches. Post and lintel framework with sawn or riven planks forming the walls, and a nice, solid concrete foundation.
