Visited not long ago, they had scaffolding up all round the tower on the left, ruined the view a little.
Beautiful castle though, and some great history. Reading about how 2 Welsh militiamen took the castle while the English garrison was attending mass in town by pretending to be carpenters was quite entertaining, it’s like a Monty Python sketch!
