I lived down the road from here for 2 years! On ‘Castle Avenue’, although I shamefully rarely even went to check it out. It’s unfortunately just a hotel/restaurant, can’t really go wandering around it

How was the location? I keep seeing deals for flight/hotel on Groupon for this place and I wondered if it was worth it to stay in that area.

We stayed her as well! It was AMAZING and it is a beautiful hotel! I was so excited to see this castle pop up on my feed! Cheers!

Must have cost a few bob.

I’ve been there! We had the room on the ground floor, it was huge, and cold and humid. Truly an interesting experience.

So, nobody gonna point out that Clontarf sounds like Alf’s cousin?
He would have appeared in a Christmas episode where Alf’s annoying cousin comes to visit, overstays his welcome, eats all the cats (leaving none for Alf), and then makes Alf realize the true meaning of Christmas.
