not a castle, (castles are military structures.) just a house that looks like one. its full of windows, and the crenellations aren’t real or functional. wikipedia page about it reveals it to be built in the late 1700’s – way after the time of castles – by an eccentric architect and refers to it as a house.
we really gotta stop this whole “posting things that aren’t castles to /r/castles” thing.
