One of the first subsidized public housing estates in Hong Kong built in 1975. They built them in a circle so dust and other things don’t collect in corners. There are other buildings similar to this in mainland China. But this is the only estate in HK that looks this way. You may have also seen it in the movie “Ghost in the shell”, if you haven’t seen it its worth the watch. This is one of 4 circle buildings, of which they are joined as a pair making it look like a number 8 from a drone shot above. Apparently 10,000 currently live is this housing estate.
