Originally I had this in r/Colorization but someone said that it might be appreciated in this sub. I apologise if that is not the case and will remove if required.
Plans by J.W.Mchlaughin (Architect) helped.
Also Librarian reports by W.F.Poole (Librarian @ CPL ) during consruction of the Main Hall.
Items from the Haith Trust and CIncinnati Public Library were of use.
Seems such a shame that because this building was not suited to the preservation of books that it could not have been repurposed for something else, rather than being left to become dilapidated.

This literally made me say "OH NO" when I realized which sub it’s in.
The spiral stairs, the columns, the floor tiles, the feeling of soaring height and dense stacks…I love libraries, obv.
This one really gives me the melancholies.
