    Some spiritual tradition holds the series of 11 churches carved from stone in this region were created by angels, as the masons of the time did not have the mastery to carve such incredible structures out of the solid rock.

    I am very out of shape. Intellectually, I know that the space between the building and the ledge is probably much larger than it appears in a photo. Still, whenever I see these pictures, my stupid brain tells me, yeah, I could jump that gap.
