The castle is located on the island of Costaérès, in the department of Côtes-d’Armor. This neo-medieval-style palace dates from the late 19th century and was built by Bruno Abakanowicz, a Polish mathematician and inventor.
Entirely made of pink granite and slate, the building reveals an original architecture resulting from its many expansions over the years.
Private property, the castle of Costaérès is unfortunately not open to visitors, but can be admired from the outside.

Amazing ! I live 15 minutes from the castle. It’s really nice and honestly it’s not always like this. Most of the time the tide is low so it’s surrounded by sand and mud. It’s still gorgeous but I thought I had to point that out.
