Been there this year. It’s absolutely crowded during the day so we visited 2 hours before closing time. There is an old pharmacie in a small tower you can visit until 16h00. The castle is one the most beautiful we visited in France.

This is my favorite castle in the Loire valley! <3 We got there hella early and managed to avoid the crowds. When we visited there was a great exhibit in the hall to the left about all the women that had contributed to its design.
