Abstract: Central Synagogue is one of the oldest synagogues in the United States and the second most continuously used synagogue in New York State. It is a Reform synagogue built in the elaborate style of Moorish Revival, designed by Henry Fernbach, New York’s first prominent Jewish architect. Notably, the Synagogue’s Senior Rabbi, Angela W.
