The Cathedral is memorialized in engraved stone at 49 Franklin St., once a chapel dedicated to St. Thomas More in the Art Deco style, now a pita place, for lunch only. Time marches on.

It reminds me of St. Vibiana’s in Los Angeles, which was L.A.’s first Catholic Cathedral before the construction of the current Cathedral.
