It’s a ferry/platform that takes people from one side to the other. Can we please stop pretending this is a cabin?

This is essentially a floating observation dock for individuals who want to experience Kitch-iti-kipi, or “The Big Spring”, in Palms Book State Park just outside of Manistique in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. The raft goes out about 4/5 of the way and then returns. The spring is about 40 feet down, and you can see clear to the bottom. It’s also full of trout which can easily be seen swimming around.
Amazing place; not a cabin. OP, I know you sourced it in the comments, but your source is incorrect.

Palms Book state park in the UP. Not a cabin— more of a covered raft — but super cool nonetheless. Definitely worth a visit.
