  10. It’s a shame because the source article doesn’t have the exterior pic for this house. The designer is Ben Pentreath, who did interiors for William and Kate. This is the entrance hall with stunning white panelling, and the chair in the middle is a ‘Sussex’ bench designed by William Morris, one of the main influencers of the Arts and Crafts movement during the late 19th century. Not sure if it is authentic but given the rest of the house it wouldn’t be surprising if it was. Here is another angle. This is the bright living room. And all of the rooms so far are covered with handwoven traditional rush matting which are outrageously priced. This is the dining table by the window next to the kitchen. This is the study in the attic with more gorgeous wood panelling. And finally this is the entrance to the main bathroom.

  11. The blue and brass goes great together. We recently repainted our cabinets and did Railings from Farrow and Ball which is the same manufacturer of this blue. The color goes from very dark blue to blueish charcoal grey depending on the light and time of day, and it’s really beautiful.

  13. I love the blue but I can’t help thinking this is such a temporary style. In 10 years from now, people are going to be wondering how we possibly thought that looked good.
