Black kitchen with a breakfast nook in a renovated mid-century modern residence originally built in the 60s, Hudson Valley, Upstate New York [2364×1576]
I think it’s gorgeous, but for me, personally, I’d prefer the range in the island, and put the sink in that window (unless the sink has its own window)
Certainly would be easier keeping the windows clean if they weren’t getting greasy cooking mess all over them daily.
The breakfast nook is really cute

A kitchen without a sink or a range hood?

We have all black granite. It shows EVERYTHING. When I make toast it looks like I was cooking bread from scratch. Why the previous owners chose this, I’ll never know.
