    Looks like it was abandoned for a while before it burnt down. Kinda hard to appreciate the architecture as I assume this would have been slave HQ – built on, if not also with, slave labor.

    On the one hand, that’s an impressive, unique, weird architectural piece to lose.

    On the other, it finally did the thing that every plantation house should have done ~85 years before.
