    I kind of like it. Looks like Brutalism mixed with the International Style to me, which makes sense seeing how it was built after WWII when the focus was on functionality and not so much aesthetics.

    The motto during Modernism was form follows function… yet the two buildings are pretty identical in form. Kind of leads me to believe both buildings could’ve achieved the same or similar level of function, but the newer one was just designed to be stripped of any craft and ornamentation. Makes ya think…

    The City Hall actually mostly survived WWII but was demolished later.

    The one on the left looks similiar to a building that exists in Stratford, Ontario. The court offices I believe
