The museum burned in 1872, and razed two years later. (1829-1874)

    The Museum after the fire.

As far as I can tell, nothing of major significance was lost in the fire. Once source says the collection was " stuffed birds, reptiles, animals, wax figures, and pictures.", but I did find an ad that shows they had a Mammoth Skeleton as well.

    An ad for the museum.

The museum was replaced 8 years later by the B&O building, which suffered a similar fate. The [Emerson Hotel went up in that same spot in 1911.] (https://www.reddit.com/r/Lost_Architecture/comments/d3ezoq/the_emerson_hotel_baltimore_md_replaced_along/) You can see the hotel’s fate here, and what now sits there.

The museum in better days, plus showing the Battle Monument.

None of the other buildings on this street survive to this day, I’m guessing if any buildings survived into the 1900’s, they were lost in the fire.

Similar view of the original picture, on what is now Baltimore street.
