Fancy stairs so expensive, the rails had to be cut out of the budget. But at least the shiny concrete floor is easy to mop up.
Also, a vintage bicycle is a cliché reserved for fancy lofts, not for cobbled together IKEA junk.

I can’t imagine that those stairs meet the UBC.
I don’t know, maybe South Carolina doesn’t follow the UBC. But even then there should be at least a hand-rail…

I used to drive by this place all the time on my way to work. The entire house is out of place. It’s super modern on the outside and the entire neighborhood is old, beautiful, Charleston style bungalows. Not sure how they ever got the historical society to agree to it. I don’t even want to know how much it cost to build it, with the price of real estate here.

Looks like the home where the detectives in a thriller find the murdered rich guy.
Aesthetically, I actually love it. But I don’t think "operating theater" is the appropriate choice for a home interior style.
