I’m gonna go against the grain and say I love it. Sure it’s not a pure recreation of the original, but I don’t think you’re going to get a pure recreation of the original. Why not embrace the some modern mix. And most major cathedrals have nice gardens on the grounds, the idea of having one inside is quite interesting. It’s a quiet place to meditate and think. This is a very important thing for a church.
