   You’d need to refine the question. Building an identical brick by brick copy would cost about the same just plus inflation. Building a new version that’s aesthetically the same but has been changed to comply with modern codes and occupant expectations…that could easily be up to 3x the original cost plus inflation. We demand significantly more from our buildings these days (electrical, data, climate control, insulation, plumbing, fire safety, security, accessibility, etc.) and those all drive up the cost.

   I don’t know, but don’t forget about property taxes which would be different depending on where you build it (and also VERY expensive potentially). 👍

   It was sold in 2001 for $185 million. Which would be about $270 million today. If that helps at all.
